SUN FAM 50 is used in the following cases

Treating vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency

Supports bone health and prevents bone-related diseases such as osteomalacia and osteoporosis

:Suggested use

:Adults

- To prevent vitamin D3 deficiency

One bottle of Sun Fam 25,000 IU every month

- For the treatment of vitamin D3 deficiency

-One bottle of Sun Fam 300,000 IU for one time

-Or one bottle of Sun Fam 50,000 IU every week for 6-8 weeks, followed by a maintenance dose of one bottle of Sun-Fam 50,000 IU each month

:children

- For prevention of vitamin D3 deficiency in 0-1 year olds: One bottle of Sun Fam 25,000 IU every 8 weeks

- For the prevention of vitamin D3 deficiency in ages 1-18 years: One bottle of Sun Fam 25,000 IU every 6 weeks

- For the treatment of vitamin D3 deficiency in ages 0-18 years: One bottle of Sun Fam 25,000 IU every 2 weeks for 6 weeks, followed by the maintenance dose of one bottle of Sun-Fam 50,000 IU each month

Treatment of rickets in children over one month of age with a single large dose

One bottle of Sun Fam 300,000 IU for one time

Or One bottle of Sun Fam 50,000 IU weekliy for 6 weeks

The doctor may prescribe larger doses than that in some cases that require this, such as obesity, malabsorption, or patients treated with drugs that affect vitamin D metabolism

Repeat the dose according to the results of laboratory analyzes and the estimate of the attending physician
